Enjoy the view from your own private villa overlooking the Great Mayan Barrier Reef in the Caribbean Sea which is the second largest barrier reef in the world. The sea in front of the house offers great diving with the Posa Rica and excellent snorkeling. Xcalak is famous for fly fishing in the flats of Chetumal Bay and renowned for its world class diving with Banco Chinchoro.
It’s a natural paradise with many more activities such as kayaking, biking, beach walking, canoeing in our lagoon or simply relaxing with a good book.

• Sports and Leisure

Between the house’s beach and the reef exist many coral heads that can be explored by snorkelling and kayaking. We do a lot of snorkelling and it would be a pleasure to show these to you. Great pictures can be taken (see “PHOTOS Marine Wildlife”).

Fishing lovers will enjoy coming to Xcalak which is world renown for it’s fly fishing and sport fishing.
Following the beach road, you can reach by bike or car, Punta Gavillan’s lighthouse which is 6 km (4 miles) north.
A peaceful fishermen’s village, Xcalak has many small local restaurants to please all.
